Born 1995 in Tver, Russia
Lives and works in Cellino Attanasio, Italy
As a result of my versatile education, I became interested in combining different practices, techniques, and materials. Both my artistic practice and academic research used to explore an individual’s inner world, looking for their hidden fears, desires, and dreams, in order to discover how they can survive and find harmony with the world around them. My art studies the boundaries of the natural and artificial, the physical and the metaphysical, reveals the themes of things and ideas about things, tries to define where reality ends and ideas about it begin. A result of this research has been demonstrated for the first time in the creation of the series of works entitled ‘Room’ (exposed as a graduation project at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence), where figurative and abstract elements are combined, the objects on the canvases appear to dissolve in their surroundings, and the image is blurred or distorted into pixels. These ideas continued their development in the subsequent cycles ‘Four Walls,’ ‘Light Study’ and culminate in the ‘Last Days of Summer’ project.
